Scott Munro has actually worked for a Chop House before. As a bright-eyed trainee back in the early 2000s Scott did some of his tooth cutting down in the heat of the underground kitchen at Mr Thomas’s. At the beginning of his career as a chef.


And it’s been some career.


Scott’s ambition and skill has taken him across the country and continent, through some of Europe’s finest restaurants. These include a stint at the two Michelin star Restaurant Noma, Copenhagen, 4AA Rosette Manchester House and Brasserie Abode. Scott has also worked under several big-name chefs including Aiden Byrne at Restaurant Mcr and Andrew Green at The Restaurant at Ducie Street Warehouse.


And Scott himself appeared in the 2020 season of MasterChef where he thoroughly impressed the judges with his ambition, finesse and skill.


In the new era of Sam’s, Scott has already made his mark in spectacular fashion. Embracing our best of British mantra, he has created the most exciting menu we have had in years, complete with all your old favourites and a stunning range of new classics.


And not only are Scott’s dishes a feast for the stomach, they are also breath-taking on the eye.
